Maggie Rowland Named Judicial Clerk

Maggie Rowland, who has served as a staff attorney at Patterson Intellectual Property Law since 2014, has been named a judicial clerk to Senior Judge John Trice Nixon, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Tennessee. Rowland starts her new position on July 5.
“While we are sad to see Maggie leave, this is a great opportunity for her,” said Ed Lanquist, managing shareholder. “All of us at Patterson wish her the very best.”
Rowland earned her J.D. at Belmont University College of Law, cum laude, in 2014. She was the executive articles editor for the Belmont Law Review and served on the executive board of the Women’s Law Student Organization. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2009.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Nashville Bar Association. She is also a member of the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association, American Association for Justice and Lawyers’ Association for Women.
