Firm welcomes new associate Alex Huffstutter

Patterson Intellectual Property Law is pleased to announce that Registered Patent Agent Alex Huffstutter has joined the firm as an associate. He will work in the firm’s electrical patent and software IP practices.

“Alex will be an immediate asset to the firm,” said Managing Shareholder Ed Lanquist. “As Nashville expands its lead as an innovative center, Alex’s expertise will enable Patterson IP Law to remain a relevant force locally, nationally, and internationally.”

A Nashville native, Huffstutter’s areas of expertise include recent technical innovations in electrical engineering including graphene synthesis. He is a 2017 graduate of Belmont University College of Law and earned his B.E., with honors, in Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt University in 2013. Alex is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
